For the last few weeks, my friend Jenya from While She Was Sleeping has been running a really cool series called “Mommy and Me.” Some of my favorite blogland designers got together and shared their interpretations of something that they and their kids shared together (outfits, accessories, etc) Jenya gave us a challenge to join in and I wanted to jump right in! And by jump right in, I mean sending her an email with the pictures of the outfits LITERALLY an hour before she had her post scheduled to be published. I’m a master procrastinator and my inspiration only strikes in tight deadlines.
I actually started working on this project on Wednesday when I made this JetPack shirt for Nic. I love making things for this guy, he is now very aware that I make things and gets so happy when the final result is for him! Who doesn’t love this kind of reaction to your hard work?

Thank you for joining in Alisa ๐ I agree, it is so special when kids realise that someone makes things for them ๐ When LM gets dressed she often asks who made this or that for her – awww ๐

Just a random curiosity question, Alisa – will she sleep in a wrap on your back while you sew? We're hoping to adopt, and this is my plan if we have a fussier/cuddlier baby like my second has been. (Isn't it wonderful/annoying? lol I love having a cuddly kid since my other is not at all, but I also love "me time" come bedtime and not being a mattress ; )
