I can’t believe that Christmas is measly 16 days away! This is the first time we are having Christmas at home since the kids were born and although I am definitely sad that we wont’ get to spend the holidays with my in-laws, I am excited that we will get to have a crack at starting some fun Christmas traditions with the kids in our own house. Not to mention, it gives me an opportunity to make stockings for my kids!! The tree is all ready to go and my kids might already be sick of Christmas music, ooooops!

This fabric line has such lovely colors and designs I just want to keep stroking it (is that weird? It’s not weird, right?) It also reminds me a lot of modern Asia, which is fitting since I live in Taiwan <3

I already finished all my Christmas sewing!! I made quilted rice bags and pjs for my whole family, my mom, my brother and sister, brother and sister-in-law, 3 nephews, 4 nieces and my daughter, plus a friend's 2 kids… quite a lot o work so I started super early
Now I have to finish 2 dresses my sister wants to give as gifts for her goddaughters… but that only takes me a day or two thankfully

Eeek! 16 days?!! I have one quilt that needs a binding, one quilt that needs one more border sewn on, quilted and bound and one quilt that needs almost all the piecing done, quilted and bound! Plus, I have an extra guest I was going to "try" to finish a quilt as you go throw quilt, but I need to finish the others first so I can use some of the extra fabric for this one! Enjoy creating holiday traditions in your home! I have just one project to finish. I am picking up a quilt from the long arm quilter on Wednesday. I'll need to trim the quilt, machine sew the binding, then hand-sew it down. We have tried to simplify our gift-giving this year. It is wonderful to have less stress.
